ADMISSIONS PROCESS
The ministry of Calvary Christian School (CCS) exists to help Christian parents raise their children to be disciples of Jesus Christ. We are excited that you are considering CCS to help meet your family's educational needs. Children are a gift from God and we recognize that along with this blessing Christian parents have a responsibility to educate their children in the ways of the Lord. That is why our vision is "Education by Discipleship."
Our goal is to come alongside like-minded Christian families who desire their children's education to reflect the Christian values that we are committed to instilling through a biblically centered learning environment.
Our purpose is to help children to realize their full potential and to glorify God spiritually, academically, socially, and physically.
The admissions process is also a time for you, as parents, to evaluate and consider the mission, philosophy, and policies of CCS. Please take time to prayerfully read these pages as well as our FAQ, Schedule of Tuition and Fees, and study the Scriptures that are the basis of our ministry. We desire to answer your questions and give you a clear picture of our objectives. If you have any questions, please call our Admissions Office at 732-479-0740 or email us at [email protected].

ADMISSIONS POLICY
The following Admissions Policy has been adopted to assure consistent standards of admission that are in agreement with the philosophy and purpose of Calvary Christian School.
We are committed to accepting students who are willing to grow in their walk with the Lord, and to comply with the school’s policies and purpose. Those who have demonstrated a history of rebellion, or disobedience towards authority, may be considered unready to enter the school. However, in such circumstances support for the family is available through the ministry of Calvary Chapel Old Bridge (CCOB). Our goal is to help families by creating opportunities for these students to demonstrate their readiness to be discipled and reconsidered for admission to CCS.
- At least one parent in the home has accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
- Priority will be given to families that are committed to the ministry of CCOB as shown by regular attendance and giving. Early application for these families will take place during February. After this time, like-minded believers from local churches are encouraged to apply.
- Families must agree to sign a Parent Contract.
- All paperwork from the Family Application Form must be complete before a family interview is scheduled with the CCS Directors.
- Student applicants must give every indication of potential success in the school’s academic program, based on past records, readiness tests, and interviews.
- The committee will evaluate whether or not the resources of CCS are able to address the needs of exceptional student learners.
- Student applicants must give a satisfactory record of behavior and attendance.
- Prospective Kindergarten students must be the age of 5 on or around October 1.
- The Admissions Committee will provide written notification of the decision regarding the applicant. All results are evaluated with much prayer and will be final.
- Calvary Christian School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origins in the administration of its admissions policies, educational policies and school-related programs.
